  • Winter Semester 2009 Begins

Today was the first day of classes for Winter Semester 2009. It also happens to be my last. 🙂 I left home last night in the middle of a blizzard, uncertain if I would be able to make it or not due to road conditions. I successfully arrived, thought about an hour longer of a drive then normal, and brought my stuff into the apartment. I went to put some stuff in one of the cupboard that I used last semester, and courtesy of one of my new room mates from Korea, found this:

Needless to say, I’m not going to want to put anything in that section ever again!

  • Winter Break

I go back to school this week, but I have been able to have an enjoyable winter break.  This upcoming semester will be my last, and since I’ll probably spend a good deal of it home riding on weekends I’m sure it will go fast!  Here are just a few photos of my break.

  • Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to you all!  Yesterday I went on a ride with my friend Bernt Jenkins, and let’s just say with all the fresh new powder we’ve gotten over the past few days being stuck was not uncommon…

  • Last Photo Assignment

Over the weekend I shot my last photo assignment for Art 206 (Color Photography).  It was a good semester and I learned a great deal and became a little better at photography.  As you can tell, I finished the photo journal assignment on the 29th.  The photo journal is a pretty cool idea; sometime in the future if I get ambitious I’ll pick it up again.

If you haven’t noticed by now, WordPress (the back-end to my webpage) really desaturates my photos…

Watched a calf be pulled today.  That’s always interesting…

Today two of my sisters (Kami and Kimberly) and myself went up Weber Canyon to get the Christmas tree.  Yeah, it was a little big, but it worked out well.

Happy Thanksgiving!  Today we went to my relatives in Etna for Thanksgiving.  Afterwords we had some family photos taken.

  • Photo Journal Nov 26

I was working at one of the elementary schools today, and it just so happened that they were also performing their fall play.  I have relatives that were performing, so I was glad that I had my camera with me.

I spent all day today working in Afton (for both the school district and the newspaper).  This is a photo of the famous Elk-horn Arch on main street.

I was over at my cousin’s house today, and the evening side lighting coming in from the blinds was very warm and beautiful…
