Last Thursday and Friday was graduation. It is hard to believe it actually happened! It’s been a lot of fun and hard work. I have a lot of mixed emotions, as I’m sure most graduates do. I will miss friends and associations, but look forward to getting on with the rest of my life. I wish the BYU-Idaho class of 2009 the best of luck!
After graduation my room mates and I (and Adam’s brother and our friend Victoria) went to Big Jud’s. After that we all parted and went our separate ways.
Next week is the end of Winter Semester 2009 here at BYU-Idaho. It also happens to be my last semester as a student here. That’s right–I’m graduating. I’ll be a graduated student with a degree in Computer Information Technology. It’s been a good semester, as well as a good experience. In the beginning all thoughts and emotions say that it can’t get over fast enough. But now that it’s finally here it’s a bag of mixed emotions. I’ve made a lot of good friendships over the years and have had a lot of fun, but as with all things it eventually comes to an end.
Today two of my sisters (Kami and Kimberly) and myself went up Weber Canyon to get the Christmas tree. Yeah, it was a little big, but it worked out well.
I was working at one of the elementary schools today, and it just so happened that they were also performing their fall play. I have relatives that were performing, so I was glad that I had my camera with me.
I was over at my cousin’s house today, and the evening side lighting coming in from the blinds was very warm and beautiful…
This night shot was a four minute exposure of the barn gate. I always thought the lights in the barn looked pretty cool, so I tried to replicate what I see with my camera.
Today I drove home for Thanksgiving Break. We get the entire week off. It’s a good thing too because I can sure use some time off from school!
I was at Smith Park this evening finishing up another photo assignment. The weather was beautiful. It can be anything this time of year…
This photo isn’t really part of the assignment, but I couldn’t resist. My room mate hollered out loud that his Windows Vista machine had blue screened, so I couldn’t resist the opportunity to make fun of it.
I just spent the last little while cleaning the bathroom for clean checks. I know it’s lame, but I forgot to take a photo of something better today… So here it is!
This is my Friend Duston. He is from the same place as I am from (Star Valley), and we go on motorbike rides together and are in the same major here at school. I took this photo as we were on our way to go do some computer work.
